Project Units & Information
Set measurement units and enter project metadata.
Level Setup
Define building levels with names and elevations.

Tip: Levels are created in the project using an Elevation or Section view. Drag the level head to set the elevation or type a value directly.

Grid Setup
Define structural and reference grids. Vertical grids use numbers; horizontal use letters.
Vertical Grids (Numbers)
Horizontal Grids (Letters)

Tip: Grids are placed in plan views. Go to Architecture tab → Datum panel → Grid. Click to start and end each grid line. Double-click the grid head to rename.

Shared Coordinates
Configure project coordinate system for site and civil coordination.

Survey Point: Represents a known real-world coordinate (e.g. a benchmark). Move it to establish shared coordinates.

Project Base Point: Defines the building's origin (0,0,0) in project coordinates. Usually set at a corner or entry point.

Workset Configuration
Worksets enable multi-user collaboration. Enable the ones relevant to your project.

How to enable Worksharing: Go to Collaborate tab → Manage Collaboration → Enable Worksharing. Then create the worksets listed here.

Each team member should own one workset. Elements assigned to a workset can only be edited by that workset's owner.
