Service Terms

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the online services listed at engineersuniverse.com/services (the "Services"). They are in addition to the site-wide Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. They do not apply to the All-Access Pass, which is a separate purchase.

2. How a request works

Sending a request is free and does not create a purchase. We reply by email with the scope of work and the exact price. Nothing is charged until you agree to both.

If you agree, we send a secure payment link (Stripe). Work starts after payment is received. We may decline a request, for example if it is outside what we offer.

3. Prices

The site does not list prices. The price is proposed in our written quote after you send a request, and it is the price you pay for the agreed scope. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

4. Delivery and timing

We deliver by email or by a download link. The quote states an estimated delivery time. Estimates are not guarantees, and they depend on you sending the information we ask for.

5. Revisions

Each Service includes one round of reasonable revisions within the agreed scope. Ask for revisions in writing after delivery. A change of scope, or further rounds, is quoted separately.

6. What you send us

Send only material you are free to share. Do not send passwords, personal data you are not entitled to share, or confidential material of others. You confirm that you have the right to give us the material you send.

We use your material only to prepare your deliverable and to reply to you. We do not sell it or publish it. Requests are stored so that we can answer them and keep a record of the work.

7. Ownership and use of deliverables

After payment in full, you may use the deliverable for the purpose stated in the quote. Where a quote states a limit on use (for example for an illustration), that limit applies. Ask in the request if you need exclusive use or resale rights.

We keep the right to reuse general methods, know-how and templates that do not contain your confidential material. We do not display your work in a portfolio without your permission.

8. Not professional engineering or legal advice

The Services provide information, tools, documents, feedback and writing. They are not professional engineering, stamped or signed design, legal, financial or safety advice, and they do not replace a licensed engineer on a project.

You are responsible for checking results and for decisions that rely on them. Calculation tools and other deliverables should be checked by a qualified person before use.

9. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee any outcome, such as passing an exam, receiving interviews or a job, winning a bid or an award, or search or ranking results.

10. Refunds

If we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we refund the payment for the part we did not deliver. If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, write to us and we will work with you through the revision in section 5. Payments are processed by Stripe.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for a Service is limited to the amount you paid for that Service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Changes and contact
