The Critical Path Method and network diagrams, Gantt charts, resource leveling, and the project management triangle's scope/schedule/cost tradeoffs.

Every process improvement this program has covered — a DMAIC project, an OEE initiative, a value stream redesign — is itself a project, and it succeeds or fails on scheduling discipline as surely as it does on the underlying engineering. This module builds the Critical Path Method for finding which sequence of activities actually controls a project's finish date, Gantt charts for communicating that schedule visibly, resource leveling for when a limited team turns a logically-parallel schedule into a resource-constrained one, and the project management triangle for reasoning clearly about scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs under pressure.

By the end of this module you should be able to compute a network's critical path from a forward and backward pass, explain why resource leveling can push a project's finish date beyond what pure CPM logic predicted, and name specifically what has to give when a stakeholder asks to compress a schedule.
