Real Project: Utility Solar Farm

The project brief: a 500-acre former agricultural parcel is being developed into a 100 MWdc utility-scale solar farm interconnecting directly to the regional transmission grid. Framed as this program's largest-scale project, it's the one real project where the racking choice, inverter architecture, and interconnection process all operate at a scale and through a regulatory process a rooftop or commercial system never encounters.
