The project brief: a municipal wastewater lift station serving roughly 4,500 connections, three 60 hp submersible pumps (duty/duty/standby, N+1 capacity) each driven through its own VFD, a 480V motor control center, an automatic transfer switch and standby diesel generator sized for 72 hours of unattended run time, and an RTU/SCADA panel with automatic alarm dial-out. Every prior project in this program assumes a staffed facility where a person eventually notices a problem. This one runs 24/7 with no on-site operator at all — and an unaddressed failure here isn't inconvenience, it's a sanitary sewer overflow with real environmental and regulatory consequences.
