Engineering Software: The Real Workflow

How AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, Bluebeam, and Excel actually fit together on a real electrical project — not software tutorials, but the workflow that connects them.

This module is not a set of software walkthroughs — every firm customizes its own templates and standards enough that a generic tutorial would be wrong the moment you sat down at a real workstation. Instead it maps which tool a working electrical engineer reaches for at each stage of a project, why that tool and not another, and how the output of one program becomes the input of the next.

By the end of this module you should understand why a one-line diagram drawn in AutoCAD or Revit was built from a study that ran in ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower, cross-checked against an Excel spreadsheet, and coordinated through Bluebeam markups — and why knowing that chain matters more than memorizing any one vendor's interface.
