Design reports, specifications, equipment schedules, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, submittals, cost estimating, and construction administration.
A correct calculation only becomes a working building through documents other people rely on — a specification a contractor prices and builds from, a schedule every discipline cross-checks against, a submittal review that catches a mismatch before it becomes hardware. This module covers the documents and workflows that carry a design from the calculations in earlier modules through construction and into service.
By the end of this module you should be able to explain why a design basis report's internal consistency matters more than its polish, why an "or equal" clause and a performance specification carry genuinely different risk than a tightly prescriptive one, and why an honest AACE estimate class alongside a dollar figure prevents a specific, common, and avoidable category of client dispute.
