Most wireless training jumps straight into product specs and channel plans. This module deliberately starts one level up: what an electromagnetic wave actually is, why frequency and wavelength are locked together by the speed of light, how amplitude and phase carry information, why polarization mismatch can silently kill a link, and why RF engineers do virtually all of their math in decibels instead of watts.
By the end of this module you should be able to explain, from first principles, why a lower-frequency signal covers farther and penetrates buildings better than a higher-frequency one at the same power — a tradeoff Module 9 and Module 10 return to directly when choosing a band for a real coverage requirement.
