Real Project: 4D Construction Sequencing for a Mixed-Use Project

The project brief: a tight urban site with no room for a conventional laydown yard, an occupied ground-floor retail tenant whose lease requires continuous access, and a CPM schedule that is logically sound on paper but has no concept of physical space at all. This module walks the full 4D sequencing process a real scheduling team would run: linking schedule activities to model geometry, modeling temporary logistics explicitly, and building a weekly simulation that surfaces conflicts a Gantt chart cannot.

You'll see exactly how a real spatial-logic conflict between curtain wall delivery logistics and a retail tenant's required access was caught five weeks ahead of when it would have occurred in the field, how it was communicated to a non-scheduling stakeholder using the animation itself, and how the schedule was refined and re-verified.
