High-piled combustible storage is the single hazard category where getting sprinkler design wrong has the largest real consequence — a fire in racked storage burns faster and hotter than the same commodity stored at floor level, and the required protection scales accordingly. This project works a real warehouse from commodity classification through a complete design decision: why the actual commodity mix (not just the dominant product) drives classification, and when ceiling-only protection is genuinely adequate versus when in-rack sprinklers become unavoidable.
It closes with a full hydraulic calculation demonstrating the design meets its required density and area, and a bill of materials pricing out the sprinkler heads, pipe, and in-rack branch lines the design actually requires — applying Module 5's hydraulic calculation method and Module 12's hazard classification framework to a single real building.
